FUN & EFFECTIVE GIFS

ONE

200

I chose this Gif because it is probably the most simplistic one I came across. It just alternates between a red overlay and a blue overlay but creates a bit of suspenseful movement to convey what the viewers in the audience (who are wearing old 3D glasses).

TWO

THREE

galshir I  was pretty keen on this one because of the motion involved in the pool of water beneath the cloud and how it kind of swells and dissipates to nothing so smoothly.

FOUR

Honestly, I just thought this was kinda cute. I’m also keen on the transparency of the bubble and the way the “POP!” is expressed visually.

FIVE

I chose this one because it was one of the first ones that I came across and confidently thought that I could replicate it.

I’m allergic to avocados, but who doesn’t love an adorable avocado pit? Why is the face there and not on the body? If its not firmly conected to the rest of the body, how to the arms know to pick it up? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS.

I chose this because its kinda disturbing, but also because the really simple motion of the the arm while it rotates seemed like it was something pretty easy to acomplish. I guess I chose a lot of these based on the ease in which I thought I might be able to replicate or admiration for the skill it must have taken.

EIGHT

I chose this one because of the flipbook effect. I’m not much of an artist, but I’d love to learn how to do this type of thing. Also, when looking at it, I was curious to know if they hand-drew these and scanned them, or if it was all drawn digitally.

NINE

I chose this one because of the way all of the motion (the paws, wiskers and spots) all sync up. I’m assuming this was digitally drawn, and it really makes me wish that I had the capability to draw in Adobe Animate without using my finger directly on the touchpad.

Lastly, I chose this one because I liked the stop-motion effect. It seems pretty clear that this is just a loop of an animated stop-motion clip, but it seemed relevent to course work that will come along this semester. I just wish the quality was a little bit better.
